WHO I AM? WHAT I DO? WHERE AM I GOING?
I am a plastic artist and from this position I develop my work.
My first interest was therapeutic spaces, aseptic places, places with healing abilities that have an instruction booklet. This leaflet instructs the viewer on the qualities and use of a mind access product. Modeling in this dimension makes everything possible. We can remember, reconstruct, imagine, any space. Go back to past spaces and modify our experience, generate new experiences. That the spectator becomes a client – a patient who, with my mediation, executes the work for his benefit. The execution of this work is guided by the different spatial therapies of Psychohabitation.
But bodily experience is essential as a stimulus for learning. It is the direct experience that provides us, or not, well-being that is transformed into happiness and a better life. Investigating the spatial and chromatic perception of the human being is acquiring knowledge in favor of that better life. Since 2012 I have been developing this research in different cultural and social groups. Through a questionnaire I obtained information about the color of joy, unhappiness, pleasure, pain… from different social and cultural groups. I have worked with Arab, Mexican, Galician culture. Groups of Arab and gypsy women, victims of violence, with gynecological cancer. Studies with university students. The future interest is to expand this research with new groups. The next objective is to study the perception of the mentally ill and people with depression.
With these investigative intentions, the spectator-client-patient becomes part of the work, and is an active agent in its creation. As a mediator in psychohabitation, I work with the client about their past, present, future, ideal spaces. Resolve any conflict derived from inhabited places. The process consists of the application of therapies that you can see in the part dedicated to psychohabitation.
I look for clinical contact in the viewer.
